Overview of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) - Mindfulness Meditation Classes

Classes at Mindful Living provide an opportunity to learn effective ways of handling stress and nurturing one’s well-being. Mindfulness training can involve an exciting personal adventure through self-discovery. 

At Mindful Living, training in mindfulness is used to help participants reduce the immediate effects of stress and produce lasting, positive changes in their lives. Many people take a mindfulness class with a particular goal in mind . . . to reduce stress, and its related physical and emotional symptoms. This is entirely appropriate. Another result can be that we are able to live life more fully and with more clarity. Some people who take the class describe their experience as an awakening to their own lives.
