Day of Mindfulness

A day of extended practice and silence is offered to help people deepen and strengthen mindfulness practice on the following dates for 2010:

  • Saturday, February 27th, 2010
  • Saturday, April 24th, 2010
  • Saturday, July 31st, 2010
  • Saturday, October 9th, 2010

Ongoing Support

Drop-in meditation groups are available to support individuals in their practices.

Graduate Course
Wednesdays evenings in August
Dates: 8/4, 8/11, 8/18 and 8/25

Time: 6 - 8pm
Cost: $225

In our graduate course we will refine and deepen mindfulness through periods of mindfulness meditation and exploring the practice of holding our emotions with a caring attention so we can learn and grow. Typically we struggle to change our emotional states by pushing away what we don't want and grasping for what we would like thus causing further suffering. We will explore these reactions, our beliefs about emotions, and cultivate befriending them in the midst of our ever-changing experience.
