In counseling sessions, as with all her mindfulness-based training, Micki works to create a warm, supportive environment that allows people to feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and feelings. Mindfulness is the basis of her therapeutic services. Healthy, constructive change can result from being open, in a non-judgmental and compassionate way, to your experience in the current moment. When you can clearly see where you are, you will begin to know where you really want to go. Acceptance opens the door to healing. She will collaborate with you to help you open to your inner resources through cultivating mindful awareness and compassion.
Micki can help you overcome difficult, seemingly overwhelming feelings, obstacles, and thoughts by equipping you with a variety of practical tools and strategies.
